Hi, I'm Eric.

( He / Him )

My Story

I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, but I don't pretend to have life all figured out.  I don’t.

Like you, I’m a fellow traveler ~ a work in progress ~ doing my best each day to walk the same path I invite others onto.

What I’m most interested in is helping people see what they couldn’t see before ~ both within themselves and in the systems around them.

For much of my life, I’ve been deeply fascinated by the forces that shape human behavior: trauma, conditioning, family dynamics, identity, culture, relationships, belief systems and the stories we inherit without ever consciously choosing them.

I’ve spent years exploring these topics - not only through professional, graduate-level training, but through lived experience and countless conversations with people from all walks of life.

Like many of the people I work with, I’ve had to confront my own patterns of self-abandonment, people-pleasing, over-explaining, shrinking and searching for belonging outside myself.

No More Nice Trauma wasn’t born from a textbook.

It emerged from lived experience ~ through my own process of reconnecting with my voice, my truth and my authentic self.

Today, my work is focused on helping others develop greater awareness, clarity, agency and self-trust so they can stop living on autopilot and start making intentional choices about who they are and how they want to show up in the world.

I believe healing starts with remembering and insight.

But growth also requires taking action.

We are not limited to who we’ve been.

We can honor our past without being defined by it.

We can reclaim what was lost ~ while consciously choosing to become something more.
